Prosthodontics

Prosthodontics involves the use of a device, most commonly, braces, to move teeth or adjust underlying bone. Retainers may be necessary long after dental braces are placed, especially for treatment of adults. If you have misaligned teeth, our dentist will discuss your dental goals with you and develop a plan that will straighten your teeth, aid in chewing, and create facial balance.

Prosthodontics treatment is available to patients of all ages.

In accordance with the American Association of Orthodontists, we recommend that children have their first prosthodontics evaluation by the age of 7. With early evaluation and diagnosis, children can achieve optimal prosthodontics results. Early treatment provides a range of benefits and often means that a patient can avoid surgery or other serious complications.
